Jones Beach Hotel - Wantagh

All rooms were neat.

We appreciated the hotel and Wantagh, had 1 wonderful day there. The restaurant was good besides with delicious meal here, we had delicious dishes. The staff were amazingly attentive and helpful and took care of us. Also, location was comfortable and absolutely perfect, not too far away from a public park. The property was in a very nice area.

Well-run place, private parking, very amiable staff. Well-equipped units with supposedly 1 queen 1 king bed. A safe box, cable channels, and a telephone - very useful😀

Impeccable service, just what we needed. Besides, the parking was onsite. Particularly good and perfect location - within a walking distance of everywhere we needed. Besides, Jannat al Muallaa Cemetery was 4 km away from the property...

charming stay near parks and great dining options

I enjoyed my stay and loved how close I was to both Cedar Creek Park, just a short walk away, and the fantastic restaurant options like Sapporo Japanese Restaurant, only a few minutes' stroll, making it easy to explore and savor local flavors after a day of sightseeing.

Boutique hotel with outstandingly helpful and especially helpful staff and magnificent views of the ocean horizon and the bay with incredible sunsets. Lovely restaurant for breakfast. Great way to end our trip.

We had such a relaxing time, especially enjoying the beautiful pool and spa services. It's a great spot to unwind after exploring the area. The only downside was the restaurant next door was a bit misleading in its hours, but it didn't ruin our stay! 😊

The hotel features a charming 1990s aesthetic, with impeccably clean rooms and cute amenities like a coffee machine and refrigerator. Located conveniently near JFK Airport and beautiful Jones Beach, the stay was greatly improved with the helpful staff. One bed in the room was notably soft, which may not suit everyone's preference. Message exchanges prior to the visit were commendable, but a more modern decor could elevate the overall experience.

The hotel's charming retro aesthetic was so cute, and the clean common areas made it easy for everyone to move around, especially for us seniors. The staff treated us like dear friends.

More seating in common areas would be helpful.

The location was perfect for accessing jones beach, and the hotel borders a lovely park. Everything was everything was super clean. The staff was super friendly and recognized my name at check-in. It really stood out that they were so attentive and helpful throughout our stay.

We were welcomed by the friendliest staff. Our queen room was super comfy with a fridge and coffee maker, perfect for that morning energy boost! And can we talk about the cozy vibe? The attached restaurant was a good surprise, dishing out yumminess like mussels and grilled asparagus that had us smiling from ear to ear!

The absence of internal deadbolts on room doors gave a spooky motel vibe, while windows that couldn't lock were a major concern for safety. Add to that a lingering smell in the bedding that reminded me of an old cantina, and the stay left much to be desired. If you're catching the train, be ready for a 20-minute trek from the station. It's not ideal for anyone with mobility issues.

Charming stay with great amenities

I really enjoyed my short visit here. The atmosphere is cute, and the onsite restaurant had delicious food paired with a lovely ambiance, especially with the live piano music. My room was clean and equipped with all essentials. One minor downside was the room size. It felt a bit cramped, but it served its purpose well.
